When does the Membership Year Start?
Our membership starts in April
Are there any extra costs?
There are small charges for competitive crews attending regattas etc to cover the cost of towing the gigs to and from the event and for those attending The World Championships in the Isles of Scilly (held each year late April or early May) there is a charge for the shipping of the boats to St Marys from Penzance and this is shared between those competing.
How do I Join?
As a new rower or as an improver (having completed the rowing induction course) you should be put in touch with Jan Hill (Membership Secretary) and she will take the necessary steps to register you as a new member of Weymouth Rowing Club. You can pay your fee to the end of our financial year (April) by cheque or cash or if you prefer you can set up a standing order and spread the cost rather than paying the membership fee in one go.
